I. Membership and Admissions A. Membership is granted or refused based solely on the judgment of the administration and is not a right. Membership can be revoked at any time for any reason. Each accepted member is granted one, and only one, username. If you are caught using multiple usernames, you will be subject to permanent banning of all accounts involved. B. By registering an account at Otaku TALK and participating (including but not limited to submitting posts or private messages on Otaku TALK), you hereby grant Japan Jungle LLC and our licensees, distributors, agents, representatives and other authorized users, a perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable, fully-paid, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable (in whole or part) worldwide license under all copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, privacy and publicity rights and other intellectual property rights you own or control to use, reproduce, transmit, display, exhibit, distribute, index, comment on, modify, create derivative works based upon, perform and otherwise exploit the messages posted or private messages sent on Otaku TALK, in whole or in part, in all media formats and channels now known or hereafter devised, for any and all purposes including entertainment, news, advertising, promotional, marketing, publicity, trade or commercial purposes, all without further notice to you, with or without attribution, and without the requirement of any permission from or payment to you or to any other person or entity. C. Users 13 years of age and under are prohibited from registering. II. Expected Behavior A. Language You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use Otaku TALK to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. Sexual, racial, or ethnic slurs will not be tolerated in any form and are bannable on the first offense. B. Images Images of a sexual or profane nature are discouraged. Outside of this, common sense and a "safe-for-work" rule should be the primary considerations. C. Copyrighted Material Full transcriptions of articles and whole or partially-scanned images (e.g. magazine scans) are prohibited. However, standard fair-use policies apply, and sources should always be attributed. D. Self-Promotion and Spam Do not create new threads promoting a product or service you have any involvement in, or paste materials for promotional purposes or attempt to embed referral links in your posts to generate revenue. If an existing discussion is taking place directly involving something you are associated with, you may participate in order to answer questions, clarify details, and otherwise engage with the community, but as a person, not an advertisement. All decisions with regards to thread closure and movement, permanent and temporary bans, membership, and any other relevant issues are made by the Japan Jungle administration alone and are final. Suggestions are welcome, provided they are directed to Japan Jungle Administration via e-mail. Do not dispute administrative policy or action within the forum itself. B. It is impossible for us to review messages or confirm the validity of information posted. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the contents of and are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of Japan Jungle LLC or any entity associated with it. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. C. Although we cannot review every message posted, and are not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we reserve the right to edit or delete any message for any reason.
